Environmental Responsibility

At Leumi we believe that taking environmental responsibility means encouraging external bodies that come into contact with the Bank (suppliers, customers and business partners) to take responsibility for their environment. Inter alia, this is accomplished in the following way:

• New suppliers are required to declare that they have the required business license and permits and that there are no ecology-related pending administrative and/or criminal proceedings against them
• Suppliers are encouraged to adopt activities on the issue of environmental responsibility.
• Suppliers and contractors participate in an environmental instruction session as part of periodical training.
• We strive to cooperate with environmentally-friendly organizations and part of our annual donations are dedicated to environmental programs.
