'An unauthorized cash withdrawal' – A cash withdrawal executed maliciously by an unauthorized third party, without any negligence or other involvement on your part.
If your complaint is found to be justified and meets all the required conditions, Leumi will credit your account with the amount of the unauthorized withdrawal from your online account.
How does one benefit from this guarantee?
Notify your branch about the unauthorized withdrawal immediately on becoming aware of the event (a late notification could complicate investigating the incident) and sign the appropriate affidavit at the branch.
This guarantee shall not apply to events not reported to the bank within 30 days of their occurrence.
You are required to cooperate throughout the investigation procedure and assist in tracing the perpetrator of the unauthorized cash withdrawal and facilitating the return of the money. This includes contacting the appropriate authorities.
A credit for a justified complaint that complies with the required conditions will be extecuted within 28 days from the date of signing the affidavit form.
