At Leumi we believe that taking environmental responsibility means encouraging external bodies that come into contact with the Bank (suppliers, customers and business partners) to take responsibility for their environment. Inter alia, this is accomplished in the following way:
- New suppliers are required to declare that they have the required business license and permits and that there are no ecology-related pending administrative and/or criminal proceedings against them
- Suppliers are encouraged to adopt activities on the issue of environmental responsibility.
- We strive to cooperate with environment-friendly organizations and examine the possibilities of donating towards environmental activities.
