No holds barred environmental preservation!
At Leumi we are convinced that using environment-friendly substances is preferable even if it involves higher costs. Following are a number of examples:
- Cleaning materials: Cleaning companies working with Leumi are obligated to use only cleaning materials approved by the standards of the Ecology Ministry.
- Air-conditioning gas: Old air conditioners are being replaced with air conditioners based on environment-friendly gas (Freon free).
- Disposable drinking cups: Leumi uses only disposable drinking cups manufactured from paper with minimal environmental effects that decomposes relatively quickly and is recyclable.
- Toner-free thermal printers: Toner-free thermal printers, which do not use non-environment-friendly plastic containers, have been installed at the Bank's information stations (ATMs and Leumi Info Terminals).
