The London-based magazine, World Finance, has selected Leumi as the Best Banking Group in Israel for a second year in a row.
Unique from other financial publications, World Finance selects winners based on readers' votes. Leumi was voted Best Banking Group in Israel due to a client-focused management philosophy along with a conservative risk culture. Voters also considered Leumi's investments in digital banking and products offered via mobile and the web, as well as a strong online presence. Bank Leumi's Debt Collection Sector also was a significant factor in the voting process.
In response to the award Leumi CEO, Rakefet Russak Aminoach said: "In recent years Leumi has invested strongly in technology operating systems and infrastructure. The readers of World Finance magazine have recognized Leumi's accomplishments and this award is confirmation that we have succeeded.
