Leumi wins second place in "Accessibility" competition

Leumi has been declared the second place winner in the Israel Management Center's 2010, “Accessibility “competition, for its efforts to provide high levels of service to its disabled customers.

We at Bank Leumi believe that "excellence in service" is not just a catchphrase, especially when it comes to assisting the disabled. For its strides in providing improved accessibility, Leumi is the first Israeli bank to receive the “accessibility " award.

Pursuant to the Equal Rights for the Disabled act, a public entity which provides public services, Bank Leumi is obligated to make adjustments to adequately serve the disabled public. Bank Leumi is not only obligated, but aspires to provide customers with equal and respectful service, no matter their disability. Over the recent years, Leumi began to provide accessibility for disabled customers, at a cost of millions of shekels. Bank Leumi adapted these changes even before legislation was completed and before a required law was put into practice.

The "Accessibility” competition is a unique and welcomed competition, aimed at supporting awareness for accessibility in Israel, and seeking to recognize those companies and organizations that provide outstanding service to the disabled.
